Our latest Stan Radio mix comes from Amsterdam-based DJ and producer, Suzanne Kraft.
Born Diego Herrera, and raised in Los Angeles, the city home to dublab radio, where he hosted his own musically widescreen show for many years (whilst also working as the station’s creative director).
A multi-instrumentalist, formally trained on sax, guitar, bass, and keys, the man is a prolific producer with releases on labels such as Running Back, Melody As Truth, Noise In My Head, and Animals Dancing. He co-owns P&D Records with best mate and dublab host P Relief, and is also well-known for essential collaborative projects with Jonny Nash and D.K.
We gave Diego an open brief when we reached out, having enjoyed productions and mixes spanning a wide range of genres over the years. We were super stoked that he chose a bit of an “Easy Rider” direction for this one. Music to kickstart the weekend, and definitely one for the rockers :)
